The Kemari footbag has a very solid, high-quality feel to the stitching and fabric from which it is made. The usual filler for my other footbags seems to be some kind of hard plastic spherical beads which give a high bounce and make lots of noise. The filler for the Kemari doesn't seem to be made from the same kind of beads; they seem to be a softer plastic aspherical design. The beads are also much smaller and give a heavier feel to the kicks. My buddies and I normally play on the roof of our building during our free time, which causes problems with the lighter footbags we use. This heavier Kemari allows us to play without so much interruption, and gives an impressive amount of sustainability and predictable trajectory to its flight, even with wind. I am very impressed.
