What is footbag?

Footbag (AKA hacky sack) in the modern day is a worldwide game played by thousands of people across the globe. In different forms it has been a popular pursuit for hundreds of years and its roots can be traced back to games such as kemari (from Japan), sepak takraw (Malaysia) and tsu chu (China).

Footbag combines quick reflexes, foot-eye co-ordination and flexibility, making it a great way to exercise and keep fit, but most  importantly it is about enjoying yourself and keeping that footbag in the air.
